ACTION PLAN
<INSTRUCTIONS>
Here is a list of vocabulary that is often used when talking about religion:
(It's a long list, but don't panic! We'll get through each one just fine.)
{Group 1} Belief, Fact, Opinion, Faith
{Group 2} Religion, Spirituality, Cult
{Group 3} Deity/God, Supernatural, Monotheism, Polytheism
{Group 5} Religious, Spiritual, Agnostic, Atheist
{Group 6} Places of Worship, Prayer, Fasting, Alms
{Group 7} Traditions, Rituals, Doctrines, Festivities
Each group is given a portion of the list of vocabulary.
Your job is to come up with your own definitions of each vocabulary as a group. You can use online resources or a dictionary to help you come up with your own definition. Then, create an example of each definition.
Choose one person in the group to post your definitions and examples to the post on the Social Studies Channel.
<NOTES>
As you do your research, please keep the following considerations in mind:
The resources you look up should come from credible sources.
Work together, and ask each other questions to see if you can clarify your understanding of the nuances of the vocabulary.
These words are very similar in nature - don't get discouraged if you think you don't quite understand. If you don't understand even after your research, reach out to Ms. Lee (I'll be more than happy to clarify your quarries).
<SUBMISSION>
When you're done, post your definitions on your group channel by ________.
This will allow me to view your answers and give feedback before the next class meeting.
Viola, you're now complete.
